What is Naturopathy?
Naturopathy, as we know it, has evolved using the combination of modern treatment and traditional medicines. A holisitc perspective underpinned by evidence-based practises.

A consultation with a Naturopath is comprehensive and thorough. We aim to leave no stone unturned in the pursuit of your optimal wellness. Naturopaths use the information patient's provide regarding such topics as diet, sleep quality, digestive health & function, diagnosed conditions, medical history and results of relevant pathology and functional tests like pieces of a puzzle. These pieces are put together to give the practitioner a holistic overview of the possible causes of your maladies, your body's functional imbalances and how to treat them.

A treatment plan is then compiled highlighting discussion points during the consultation along with dietary & lifestyle advice. It may also include a prescription of herbal tinctures, nutritional supplements, bespoke flower essence blends and various other nutraceuticals. It is paramount a patient becomes more aware of the causes of their dis-ease, more educated in the prevention or maintenance of it and more empowered to take the reigns in their journey to overcome it.
.
As your Naturopath I will always be guided by the Six Principles of Naturopathic medicine and partner with you to facilitate and support your body's own ability to heal itself.
The Six Principles of Naturopathic Medicine
First Do No Harm
Utilize the most natural, least invasive and least toxic therapies.
Identify and Treat the Causes

The Healing Power of Nature
Trust in the body’s inherent ability to heal itself
Doctor As Teacher

Treat the Whole Person
